Kartikay cleared two rounds of interviews at Temple. Instead of waiting on a decision, he stayed up until 5am building an equipment-tracking dashboard nobody had asked him for and sent it to his interviewer. That got him the offer. He now works on global expansion, writing integration code and running biometric experiments with the data team.

Before the internship, Somu had already built Wizley, an AI-native SAT prep platform, and Radius, an AI competitive intelligence tool, and finished fourth out of 1,200 participants at the Replit x OpenAI hackathon. That body of built work is what got him in front of Zomato. He joined their central AI team, designing workflows to improve efficiency across the org alongside senior product leaders and AI engineers.
SomuGrapevine
Riddhi runs Mesa’s AI Club as president, placed fourth at the Emergent AI hackathon at IIT Delhi, and is an Emergent Ventures Fellow working on AI for mental health. She took that to Grapevine, the Peak XV-backed HR-tech startup, as a product intern. She now manages product ops in a fast-moving team, working across product, engineering and growth.
RiddhiHimland Capital Advisors
Pratik built Snowball, an AI retirement planning tool that went from zero to 1,300 users in seven days, and Advise, a marketplace for investment advisors, while heading Mesa’s Finance Club and publishing a sector thesis on India’s wealthtech ecosystem. He joined Himland Capital Advisors as an investment analyst, supporting live fundraising mandates and engaging directly with VCs, family offices and early-stage founders.

When Shantanu Deshpande brought a growth case study to Mesa, Fatima was in her first year. She pitched partnering with influencers on mock podcasts so the razors would get recommended authentically rather than advertised. The idea landed with the founder in the room. She was offered an internship on the spot.
